Vegan Sweet Potato Tortillas | 2 Ingredients, Oil-Free #healthyrecipes #easy

Making your very own tortillas is exceptionally simple and I profoundly prescribe you to attempt it on the off chance that you are accustomed to purchasing modern tortillas. This formula has turned out to be one of our top choices and I keep re-production it 🙂

Presently, making your own tortillas takes additional time than getting them, however sincerely it is SO justified, despite all the trouble as far as taste and wellbeing. These tortillas taste similarly as great – if worse! – as the locally acquired ones and are incredibly delicate. Truly, you read that right. You will just need 2 fixings to make these heavenly and solid tortillas. No oil or odd fixings included – simply sweet potato and flour.

The first occasion when I made these tortillas, I was extremely amazed by how delicate and adaptable they were thinking about that they don't contain any oil. To ensure they remain adaptable for two or three days, make a point to stack the cooked tortillas on a plate secured with a perfect kitchen towel while you cook the rest. You can utilize these tortillas to make wraps, quesadillas, burritos, enchiladas or tacos. We want to make tacos and fill them with new vegetables and hand crafted falafels.

Ingredients

  • 150 g sweet potato, mashed (3/4 cup)
  • 130 g all-purpose flour (1 cup)

Instructions

  1. To a mixing bowl, add the mashed sweet potato and the flour and stir until well-combined. Use your hands to form a dough ball. It should not be too sticky.
  2. Separate the dough ball into 5 equal parts. Dust your working surface with flour and roll out each tortilla with a rolling pin (they should be roughly 1/2 cm thick). Don't make them too thin, otherwise they won't be as soft and flexible.
  3. Place the tortillas in a hot pan over medium-high heat and cook for 1 minute on both sides. Stack the cooked tortillas on a plate covered with a clean kitchen towel while you cook the rest. This will allow them to stay very flexible.
